Terms of service

Belong is powered and operated by Belong Universe. By using the service, you agree to these terms and your organization's applicable policies. Any commercial agreement governing your organization's access continues to apply.

1. Eligibility and authority

You may use Belong only if you are authorized to access the service and have authority to connect the accounts and data you authorize. Where you use Belong for an organization, you must be permitted by that organization to do so. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping your account access secure.

2. The service

Belong helps users retrieve information and automate tasks through available tools and connected services. Console and Insights provide account, access, and operational views according to your permissions. Optional connectors may include Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google Chat. Features and tools depend on your organization, deployment, and connected account permissions.

3. User-directed automations

You control the instructions and automations you submit or configure. Depending on those instructions and approved permissions, the service may search and read email, files, calendar events, and Google Chat conversations; create drafts, send email, or change email labels; download, copy, or create Drive files; manage calendar events; and send Google Chat messages on your behalf.

Review instructions, plans, approvals when presented, and results before relying on them, especially for consequential actions. Some permissions or approvals can persist for later actions; review your connection and access settings regularly.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Belong to:

• Access data or accounts without authorization.
• Evade organizational permissions, approval controls, or security safeguards.
• Send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications.
• Upload malware or use content to manipulate or compromise the service or another system.
• Violate applicable law, provider policies, or another person's rights.

5. Connected providers

Google Workspace and other connected services are provided by their respective providers and remain subject to those providers' terms, policies, availability, and account controls. Granting OAuth access does not transfer ownership of your data. You may disconnect a connector in Belong or revoke provider access through the provider's account settings. Disconnecting does not automatically delete prior task or conversation history.

6. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Belong accesses, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information, including Google user data. Do not instruct the service to process information that your organization prohibits you from using.

7. Service changes and suspension

We may update the service, restrict a connector, or suspend access when needed to protect users, comply with law or provider policy, respond to abuse, or maintain service reliability. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

8. Reliability and user review

AI-generated responses and proposed actions can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing results and deciding whether to approve or rely on an action. Where your organization's access is governed by a commercial agreement, service commitments are set out in that agreement.
